Let’s face it facebook beat all the traffic of Forum website. Friendster which belongs to top 30 websites before is now ranking as 543 in alexa. Most of the forum site lost their traffic because of facebook. People are now more inclined to use facebook than other website. It has been a part of our daily living.
What do you think is the reason why facebook is more popular than the other website?
For me it is:
1. People love to think out loud. – People love to share their emotion. People love to share what they feel indirectly or directly and they found facebook as their outlet. He will not be afraid if what he will post have sense or nonsense. In facebook he can think out loud.
2. People love to have their own place while sharing it to their friends- Your Facebook profile is your own place in the net. You might love to post video on it, your images or anything that can make it looks good. You may also post what your are thinking in your facebook wall without waiting for someone to reply. No one can tell you not to post because it is your own wall.
3. People love to know the updates – People are born to have concern with other people they always love to know the news in their friends personal life. Facebook made it easy for them to share the gossip errr the update.
