		<description><![CDATA[ Battling gusty winds Cigdem Ozyaman of Turkey and Satu Makela-Nummela of Finland won the Women’s Skeet and Trap events respectively at the 2012 Qatar Open Shotgun Championship at Losail Shooting complex here yesterday.There was always going to be low scores with the wind causing havoc but 2011 European champion from Turkey Ozyaman remained calm and still managed to shoot down85 of the 100 clay pigeons to finish ahead of Qatar’s Sarah Ghulam Mohamed and Hajar Ghulam Mohamed in the championship organised by Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation (QSAF).Qatar’s Sarah finished with a score of 72 from her three rounds of 25 each while compatriot Hajar managed 71.In the Trap event, Makela-Nummela, Olympic Gold Medallist at the Beijing 2008 Games, pocketed the first place with a total of 21 in the final round. Nummela was second behind Zuzana Stefecekova of Slovakia in the qualifying round with a total of 65.However, Stefecekova got blown away in the finals and managed to hit just 12 targets to settle for the silver.
