Registration Information

We have decided to put personal information field on our registration section to avoid fake registration and to help us achieve our goal for offline activities.

I have noticed that the main problem of Pinoy expats in Qatar is transportation. With this, I included the car status field to solve it out. This section will help us connect those members with car to those who donthave in nearby places  during events.

“Car share” field will allow the car owner to set his service status if his “car sharing”is free or not. With this field, the “car lift” sectors will be able to earn also with the help of this site. Members of the site who dont have car may contact them for their service.

Additional features will be added in the future to further help “carlift sectors”, “baby sitters”, and other service provider to find potential customers.

Features of the Site:

As you will notice our new site now has more features than before.
Here are the features that we have added to better show show the goal of this site.

Home- It will show the site wide announcement, greetings,and site instroduction.

Colleagues- contains the list of online registered members. You have to log-in to see the list.

Blogs- If you have something in your mind. you may put it in our blog section.
Activities- Contains our target activities for 2010 and our current activities.

Gallery- Will hold the pictures of our events.

Affiliates- Are groups in Qatar who is also a part of our Barangay. The aim of this section is to build an online presence for groups in Qatar. It will help the groups to introduce their goals and visions to Filipinos who are not yet their member.
A message board is provided for each group. This is where they can post their goals and vissions. They can also post their images and youtube videos in “show room” section of the board. Members of Barangay BQ who are not a member of their group is not allowed to post in their message board except in their “ask question section”. “Ask Question Section” is where visitors of their message board may interact with the group.
You may join a group by clicking the “join group” link in our affiliate section.You have to wait for the leader of the group to accept your membership request. An email will be sent to you once your request is accepted. The leader of the group may also call you to confirm your request.
the group may also request a hidden folder wherein members of the group may post and discuss private issues. This folder is not visible to members of Barangay BQ who are not a member of their group.
Each affiliate has their own color for their username. You may see the legend in board index of our message board.this color will be activated once you have choosen your group to be your default membership. In this way we can recognize to which affiliate the member belongs.
 
Sponsors- It contains the banner of our sponsors. Sponsors may have their own message board too. This message board may be use for their online customer support. This message board is upon the request of the sponsors and content is customizable.

Qatar Guide- It features a map of Qatar with markings of establishments. It also has a link for “Qatar cost of Living” More features will be added soon.

Let’s Talk- This is where we can chit-chat. Start a discussion in our message board or just post in the chat box. You have to re-register in the shout box to post a message. Please use the same username that you used in message board for our shout box.

Contact US- contains our contact informations.

Classifieds- If you have something to sell or if you are looking for service, you post that in our classified section.

Invite your friends – If you like the site. Please help us spred the link. Just click the “tell and share” button at right side corner of the site. Complete the form and send your invitation to your friends.

Play arcade games, movies and teleserye- will includes the embeded arcade games and links to movies.

Radio – You may listen to an internet radio while staying on our site.
