Qatar Petroleum offshore operations honours employees – Gulf Times

Qatar Petroleum’s Offshore Operations held its annual recognition ceremony at the Al-Ghazal Club here recently to honour its managers and employees for their outstanding performance in 2011.During the event, Mubarak Awaida al-Hajri, QP Operations Manager (Offshore Fields) expressed gratitude and appreciation for the support of HE the Minister of Energy & Industry, Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada as well as for the guidance and encouragement of Said Mubarak al-Mohannadi, director (Operations) at QP.Al-Hajri distributed recognition certificates to offshore managers and employees for their valuable contribution in achieving the department’s safety objectives and business targets.Also among those recognised were the members of the Offshore Operations Specialised Team (OOST), Plant Change Request (PCR) team, Continual Improvement (CI) team, as well as offshore employees who actively participated in QP events, such as the QP Environment Fair 2012.Al-Hajri also recognised the manager (Offshore Engineering) from QP’s Technical Directorate.“I would like to congratulate all our awardees this year, and I am confident their excellent on-the-job performance would effectively serve as an ideal example for other employees to follow, thus enabling our department to attain greater achievements and even higher standards of professionalism in our offshore operations,” he said.Al-Hajri also said four offshore departments have already achieved a milestone of 1mn man-hours without a lost time incident. Large-scale programs to mark Sports Day – Gulf Times
