The all-day event will take place at Qatar Sports Club with the participation of over 19 schools and organizations for disability and 332 Paralympics players.The competition will be divided into four categories for both males and females including mentally disabled, visually impaired, deaf and persons with cerebral palsy.The Paralympics day will feature competitions in standing long jumps, soft ball throw, long jump, and shot put.Speaking at the press conference, Executive Director of the School Olympic Program, Mr. Mohamed Essa Al Fadhala said, “Our main aim is to develop a sports culture among persons with disabilities in the Qatari society and highlight the different services provided to this important category.”He added, “We are holding these events to give students an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and potential physical capabilities.
